Port Melbourne Colts

During their six decade long history the Colts have won a total of fourteen senior grade premierships in half a dozen different competitions. Their most recent flag success came in a 2016 season which saw them take their bows in the Southern Football League. Competing in Division Two they won all 18 home and away matches to finish top of the ladder prior to the finals. They then accounted for Caulfield in both the second semi final and grand final thereby achieving the noteworthy feat of an unbeaten premiership and earning the title "champions". By contrast, they found the going somewhat tougher in Division One in 2017 and their tally of just 5 wins from 18 matches saw them finish second from last, a result that was repeated, albeit with a couple of wins fewer, in 2018.
